I remember this one night after playing Pokemon LeafGreen for almost the entire day straight I had a dream that my Sandslash was at the Pokemon Center because he had developed a serious illness.
I just sat with him and held his claw while he was trying to get some rest. Then suddenly, he just stopped breathing. I could hear the heart monitor let out a long, unending beep, and I just started wailing. When I woke up, I had been crying so much in my sleep that I couldn’t breathe through my nose. For some reason it’s still really upsetting to think about.
Anyway, I was listening to the FireRed/LeafGreen soundtrack and that’s why that suddenly came out of nowhere.
